Dear all PVCC members and supporters,
This year the Plenty Valley Cricket Club have decided to raise money for the McGrath Foundation to support the amazing work they do placing Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia. Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting women in Australia. Around 19,000 women and 164 men are diagnosed every year and we want to do something to help.
We are holding a Pink Stumps Day. The aim this year is to GET OUT and help the McGrath Foundation place 120 more McGrath Breast Care Nurses. We’re going to turn our pitch pink, have a fun day of cricket and raise funds to make life a little bit easier for individuals and families experiencing breast cancer. We’re feeling good about getting out for a great cause.
Key details of our event are:
• Tickets $25 per adult, children free
• Free drink on entry and nibbles
• Match being played in center- Plenty Valley Male 1st XI vs Elsternwick Cricket Club
• Jumping castle for kids and various other activities
• Guest speakers promoting the cause
• BBQ will be running for early dinner if you wish. All proceeds going to the foundation.
Tickets can be purchased via contacting Simon Bray directly on email@example.com. Prepayment of tickets would be ideal.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 and we would love your help!
If you would like to help or sponsor the event, please contact Simon too. Every bit helps.

This cricket season, we are getting out in support of Pink Stumps Day to raise funds for 120 more McGrath Breast Care Nurses.
A breast cancer diagnosis changes your life, often in ways you wouldn’t expect. The impact can be felt right through your family and friends. As much as you try, the diagnosis, the treatment and the disease can take over your life.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses bring you and your family peace of mind through expert knowledge, personal care and genuine compassion. They can help you create time in your life not defined by breast cancer.
That's why we'd love your support in Pinking Up and fundraising to help place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses, wherever they're needed.
Together, we can make a difference!
