Pinked for Awareness at Pasture of Balmoral & Pasture of Kirribilli

In June this year, the world lost a wonderful soul, Lizelle—a cherished mother and wife—after a courageous three-year battle with stage 4 breast cancer. Throughout her journey, Lizelle was cared for by the remarkable Oncology Team at the SAN Hospital. One individual who made an indelible impact was Kate, her McGrath Nurse, whose unwavering support and compassion brought light during the darkest of times. Kate’s kindness and dedication truly embodied the spirit of an angel, and Lizelle’s family will always hold her in the highest gratitude.

To honour Lizelle’s memory and express appreciation for the extraordinary work of the McGrath Foundation, Pasture of Balmoral and Pasture of Kirribilli are committed to raising awareness and giving back. On the same day as the iconic Pink Cricket Test in January, January 5th to be exact, the restaurants will join this effort with a special initiative: they will be “Pinked Up”, and all profits generated on this day will be donated directly to the McGrath Foundation.

Pasture of Balmoral and Pasture of Kirribilli are reaching out to the community for support to make this initiative as impactful as possible on January 5, 2025. Lizelle’s message remains clear and powerful: “Early detection is vital. But just as importantly, families facing this journey should know that help is available and that Australia stands united in care and support.”

Please join us in celebrating Lizelle’s life and making a difference in the lives of others. Every contribution, big or small, is treasured and will go directly to the McGrath Foundation.
