Let's do our part for breast cancer
On the 20th January 2020 our beautiful mate gained her wings after a long and courageous battle. We all met at Charles Sturt Uni in Bathurst, 3 fabulous Registered Nurses left eventually. Leah was not just a beloved friend, she was a wife and mother to 2 awesome kids, a reminder to us all that Breast Cancer does not discriminate or favour anyone! During her own fight with breast cancer Wardie (her maiden name and what we always called her) together with her friend established ROAR and rescued animals and found them new forever homes. Leah did not live in a major city and had to travel over 6 hours from her home to receive treatment and care, we are fundraising to help make the lives of families experiencing breast cancer that little bit easier especially our families in rural areas.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses bring you and your family peace of mind through expert knowledge, personal care and genuine compassion. They are a great advocate for families as they navigate treatment plan and medical care. They also help you create time in your life not defined by breast cancer.
