Let's do our part for breast cancer

I'm fundraising to help make the lives of families experiencing breast cancer that little bit easier.

A recent breast cancer diagnosis meant that I got to experience first hand the impact of such a diagnosis on myself, my family and my friends.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses brought me peace of mind through expert knowledge, personal care and genuine compassion. I was lucky enough to suffer only a brief disruption to my life, but I was very thankful for the help and support the nurses gave me at the time, and felt comforted by the knowledge that they would be there beside me should my journey have been prolonged.

Supporting me to raise funds for this great cause is easy and you can help place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses, wherever they're needed.

Thanks to all who donated to this page over the last month.
The pink hair may have faded, but the sentiment has not, and will not.
Thanks to the generosity of friends and clients, we have raised     $ 3117.48 for the McGrath Foundation this October.
Many thanks to you all. May you never need the McGrath nurses :-), but if you do, know that their job has been supported by this fundraiser.

Pink hair update

As you can see from the profile pic update, the pink hair is done!  Although that goal has been achieved, and surpassed(!), we're hoping that we can raise even more over the month !

Pink hair update

Well, the clinic is decorated and the fundraising target has been soundly surpassed! Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!
So I've booked the hairdresser for next Monday!

Unfortunately, it seems I have too much hair to dye it completely pink, so we'll have to settle for foils. I am as disappointed with that news as you all no doubt are , I promise. The perils of long, thick hair.
Kay, on the other hand, is going all pink!!
