Giving Up & Going Pink!

I have chosen to ‘Give it Up for breast cancer’ this January. I have decided to do so with the McGrath Foundation as i recall it was an organisation that my late sister-in-law was fond of.  They raise money to fund Breast Care Nurses who provide invaluable care and support to woman and men experiencing Breast Cancer. 

It took a bit of thought on what exactly to give up for the month and those who know me would agree that I don’t make decisions lightly. I could have given up alcohol but that seemed a bit cliche and I’d already done that for a previous charity cause. I also thought about giving up toxic deodorants and such as well as a few others ideas but I wanted to give up something that would be difficult to go without.. something that my family and friends would know would be challenging in the hope to enhance donations. 
So for this month I have decided to go without wearing black!!! 
I also hope to host an event and participate in other activities. 

I do appreciate a challenge and look forward to raising some funds and having some fun along the way in doing so in the month ahead. 

I’m fundraising to help make the lives of families experiencing breast cancer that little bit easier.
