Helping spread the sunshine in peoples lives
Recently, my partners mother, Jennifer Sorbie, passed away after battling with breast cancer. Jenni was only 60 years of age and had much more life to live, love to give and memories to make. My grandmother, Mary Hennesssy (Mum-Ma) also lost her life to breast cancer in 1983, aged 48, just months before I was born.
The McGrath nurses looked after, and gave their support to Jenni during her treatments and this is something that we are very grateful for.
We would like to give back and help raise funds to continue the support of the McGrath nurses who make the lives of those experiencing breast cancer, their families and friends that little bit easier.
