PSA Pink Sock Round for Breast Cancer
In 2016, Year 12 student Lochie Taylor made a proposal to organise a PSA Pink Sock round. This day would involve all Trinity 1st sport teams to wear pink socks during one round in June to support women’s health and to touch on all the Trinity mothers and significant women who encourage the boys through school and life in general.
This day helps to raise some much needed funds for the McGrath Foundation to support women experiencing breast cancer. Lochie hopes this day educates our young Trinity College men to demonstrate a greater awareness and appreciation towards the work their mothers undertake.
Now in its 7th year, Lochie's legacy lives on and the Trinity sports teams will once again be pulling on their pink socks as they line up against Scotch College on Saturday June 11 at the Trinity College Waterford Playing Fields.
Come on down and dress in a splash on pink to show your support. Don't forget your gold coin donation on arrival.
We also encourage our TC community to show their support by donating big or small to our fundraiser. All money raised will go directly to the McGrath Foundation to help women experiencing breast cancer. Every donation counts.
