Let's do our part for breast cancer
For the month of October my sister's and I plus our entourage are going PINK and fundraising to help make the lives of families experiencing breast cancer that little bit easier.
A breast cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant! Yes, in an instant. This is exactly what happened to us and our family when our Mum was diagnosed.
To watch such a strong, caring, loving person face this head on with a smile on her face that beams from ear to ear is an honor and absolute privilege to stand by her side through this journey that is still new, raw and at times difficult, emotional, feelings of numbness and sometimes reality checking impacts that affect surrounding family and friends.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses are beautiful souls who create the best support for you and your family through expert knowledge, personal care and genuine compassion when you need it the most. They can help you create time in your life not defined by breast cancer.
For the month of October we will be:
1. Running or walking 5km's each day to raise community awareness.
2. I will be donating all profits from my business Avents Made Easy from platters, gift boxes, and the like going towards the Foundation.
Your support for this great cause means a lot to us and our family. Together, we can place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses, wherever they're needed and make a difference!
