Let's do our part for breast cancer
In November I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I'm fighting this battle with the support of family and friends, and also with the help of the McGrath Foundation.
My own specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurse, J, is entirely funded by this charity. She makes a huge difference to my day-to-day life now. I'm being cared for by many amazing doctors but J helps me make sense of it all. She is on the end of the phone if I need anything and she picks up the pieces where there are pieces to pick up.
It's my birthday on 19 January and my husband Rob, kids Warren (15), Lola and Freya (11), and me (if I still have hair) are going to dye our hair pink, and we'd love you to sponsor us.
My breast cancer diagnosis changed my life in an instant and the impact has been felt right through my family and friends. Please give what you can so that others can receive the support I'm receiving.
