In memory of Clare O'Rourke
In celebration of the happiness, love and joy that Clare brought to everyone in her life, this page has been set up to honour her.
Clare's family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The McGrath Foundation to support the incredible care and support that Breast Care Nurses provided to Clare and her family.
Your donations will help the McGrath Breast Care Nurses to support more families experiencing breast cancer, no matter where they live and for free, so we greatly appreciate your support at this difficult time. Your donations will help them to make a real difference.

The man upstairs took the wrong person! I still struggle with the fact Clare is no longer with us, yet assured she is now at peace. Yesterdays celebration was perfect and I know Clare would be proud. No one will ever understand the true and profound effect Clare had on my life…. She was just that type of person who could have an immediate impact! There was only one thing I didn’t like about Clare, that she lived so far away from me. Even still, she was an important person in my life who would drop everything whenever I came to Sydney. My trips to Manly will never be the same without you, with a sense of emptiness on the same trip I will take today. I’ll be sipping a Mojito at the wharf bar in your honour and laughing at people wearing those bloody seal pants!
