Goodbye boobs!!
After completing genetic testing at the end of last year and discovering I have a breast cancer gene, I have taken the steps to reduce my risk of breast cancer as much as possible.
On the 22nd of June I will be having a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery as advised by the team of professionals guiding me through this whole process.
To say I'm nervous and scared is an understatement BUT.... I lost my mum at the age of 16 to breast cancer and we need to stop this cycle!
This fundraiser is to create awarness. Check your boobs, get the genetic testing done if it's in your family, talk about it, think about it and take action!
We are fundraising for McGrath Foundation to help make the lives of families experiencing breast cancer that little bit easier.
